Do I have to be in a Life Group to go on a mission trip? Yes, you must be an active member of a life group. If you need to find a life group, see one of our Community or Campus Pastors.
How can I raise money for the Mission Trip? When your application & references are turned in and you are approved to participate in the mission trip we will e-mail you a support letter to send out to family and friends.
Can I turn in my application and references without the $200.00 deposit? YES! Get your application and references in as soon as possible. The earlier your paper work is turned in the sooner you can begin to send out your donation letters! Your $200 does have to be in by the set due date – but your paper work can be turned in before that date.
How soon do I need to apply for my passport? NOW – the name on your airline ticket and the name on your passport must be exactly the same. Please apply for your passport as soon as possible! Tickets are ordered in advance.
I have a donation that is coming in but it is not here yet – can I wait to make payments until the donation gets here? NO – all payments must be paid no later than the due date.
What if I make a payment and then donations come in for more than I need for the trip? You can be refunded any money that you have paid – assuming all cost for the mission trip has been covered. Donation money cannot be refunded.
What vaccinations do I need to get? All mission trips will require the latest flu shot, tetanus shot within the last 5 years, and all normally required children’s vaccinations. Certain locations may require additional vaccinations or medications. Check the CDC web site (www.cdc.gov) for detailed information for each country.
